On 2 may 2008 it took place in Madrid the anniversary of the bicentenary of the insurrection of the people against the French troops, with Napoleon in charge. On the first of may, the mayor of the city took away, in a symbolical way, six of the works of painter Goya, which capture the disasters of war. This pictorial representations were recreated in six different squares in Madrid city through theatre plays combined with dance and music. The closing ceremony of the show took place at La Cibeles square, with the recreation of the representation of the shootings on the third of may, with La Fura dels Baus in charge of the show. The music was written by Carles and Pito specially for this show, unique and unrepeatable. A show created and designed by Carles Padrissa and Pere Pinyol. With more than 100.000 watts of sound power, 80.000 lumens of projectors, lights, fireworks and more than 500.000 people in the audience, this has been one of the most crowded shows which have took place in Madrid. It has been a great experience to take part in this show!!

To work in the theatre world means a motivation for us, full of creativity and freedom, which is something that sometimes is missing in other fields. In this case, the result is a little work of art conceived by La Tal company, where the devices of the glockenspiel create a unique universe.
